Goddess of Destruction - Classes, Skills & Random shizzle

Postby KaEL » Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:43 pm

Image
In the new Goddess of Destruction chronicle, only 8 awakened classes remain. Each class is classified according to its characteristics based on the existing three main archetypes (fighter, main, rogue) and to a lesser extent the racial characteristics.

Lore:
In the Awakening, the Scroll of Afterlife, which houses the spirits of ancient heroes of Giant race, transforms you. This fourth class transfer changes your character at level 85 into one of eight new character classes: Yul Archer, Feoh Wizard, Iss Enchanter, Aeore Healer, Sigel Knight, Othell Rogue, Wynn Summoner, or Tyrr Warrior. These new classes provide you numerous powerful skills to conquer the new challenges in Lineage® II: Goddess of Destruction™.
In this topic I will try to share some information I have gathered from various sources on racial skills, class skills and other things that have dramatically changed in GoD. In this topic I'll post all race / class / skill related information I've found so far. later this week I'll make an other post with info regarding weapons / armors & special abilities.

Re: Goddess of Destruction - Class Tree

Postby KaEL » Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:44 pm

Overview of stats by race
The basic stats for each race have been changed to reduce the gap between the different races:
Image

Bonus Effects
The bonus effects of the basic stats have been changed and are no longer ascribed to only a few attributes:
Image

Change in values of character combat attributes

Speed
Change in basic Speed of all races and classes.
Speed is no longer affected by DEX.

Magical Accuracy (M. Accuracy)
Addition of the Magical Accuracy attribute.
The higher the M. Accuracy, the higher the chance of attacking successfully with magic.

Magical Evasion (M. Evasion)
Addition of the Magical Evasion attribute.
The higher the M. Evasion, the higher the chance of evading magical attacks.

Magical Critical Damage (M. Critical Damage)
Change in M. Critical Damage from 2.5X damage to 2X damage.

Increase in penalties due to PC/NPC level difference
A level 85 character receives penalties when hunting a lower level monster with a level difference of 3 or greater. Penalties increase proportionally to the level difference. All characters who hunt monsters with a level difference of 11 or greater cannot gain any Exp. from hunting such monsters.

Changes to the Death Penalty

The Death Penalty system has been removed.
When dying to the following Raid monsters, there is now a 100% chance of receiving the debuff "Breath of Shilen":
Spezion, Teredor, Veridan, Kechi, Michaelo, Fortuna, Felicia, Isadora, Octavis, Istina, Balok, Barler, Antharas (instanced version).

The "Breath of Shilen" debuff has 5 stages:
Stage 1: Increases HP recovery. Duration: 10 minutes.
Stage 2: Increases Hp recovery, increases Dark resistance by 5, increases XP acquired while hunting. Duration: 10 minutes
Stage 3: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes
Stage 4: Stage 4: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes
Stage 5: Frequent deaths cause attributes to decrease significantly. Duration: 5 minutes

The "Breath of Shilen" effects of Stage 3 and above can be weakened to stage 2 through the "Newbie Guide" or "Adventurers' Guide" found in each village.
"Battlefield Death Syndrome" still applies in the same manner when a player gets killed on a battlefield.

PvP changes

Players can no longer lower the their PK count by using the quest "Repent Your Sins".
Players can only lower their PK count by using their Individual Fame at a "Reputation Manager" NPC.

New Reputation System:
- "Karma" has been changed to "Reputation".
- Players become Chaotic when their Reputation is negative.
- Players become Lawful when their Reputation is positive, and their character names turn green.

Decrease in Reputation points
- The reputation points of Chaotic / Normal characters decrease proportionally to their PK count.
- Chaotic characters with a PK count of 31 or higher are given an item drop penalty, and augmented weapons are dropped without the augmentation.

When a Lawful character performs a PK, his/her reputation points decrease as following:
- PK count of 30 or lower: Reputation becomes 0
- PK count of 31 or higher: Reputation points decrease proportionally to the PK count

Increase of Reputation points
- Chaotic characters can increase their Reputation points by gaining XP through hunting. However, the player obtains Reputation points only and XP or SP does not increase.
- Chaotic characters do not gain any Reputation points when they are killed.
- Reputation does not increase higher than 0 when points are increased by gaining Exp.
- To achieve a Reputation higher than 0, players must kill other Chaotic characters to gain a fixed amount of Reputation points.
- When killing the same chaotic character, players will receive Reputation points at a certain interval only.

Stone of Destiny
A level 85 character who is in a third class transfer can naturally Awaken into a single, destined class. However, the Stone of Destiny gives a character the choice of Awakening into a different class.

With the launch of Goddess of Destruction, all characters of level 40 or above are given a single Stone of Destiny. The Stone of Destiny is only granted to a character once. A character who has both a Stone of Destiny and a Scroll of Afterlife can Awaken into a class other than the destined class. The Stone of Destiny disappears when a character Awakens, even if the character Awakens into the destined class.

NOTE: The "Stone of Destiny", can not be aquired at the INNOVA EU servers. It was given to characters above lvl75 on the russian, korean and NA servers at the launch of GoD. Any character that used it ended up with the base skills of the human counterpart of the 4th class.

Subclass & Dualclass
Characters can now make a dual class out of one of their existing subclasses. While subclasses have a level cap of 80, a dual class does not have this restriction: It can be raised to level 99 and it can Awaken through a fourth class transfer. The Dual Class ability is obtained by completing the Split Destiny quest. The list of subclasses that a character can choose has changed. A character cannot choose a subclass that would Awaken as the same class that the character's main class would. For example, Archmage, Soultaker, Mystic Muse, Storm Screamer, and Soul Hound all Awaken as a Feoh Wizard. Therefore, a character who is an Archmage cannot select a subclass from any of the other four classes listed.

Exclusive Awakening Perks
An Awakened character has access to exclusive perks, such as a new mode of transportation called Sayune, a class-specific mount skill, the ability to obtain a Dual Class, new race skills, the ability to equip and use R-grade items, and much more. In addition to the Sayune ability, Awakened characters can also use special teleports offered by NPCs called Hermuncus’s Servants that can be found in key hunting zones. These teleports cost 150,000 Adena each. There are different teleport destinations available depending on an Awakened character’s level.

Crafting & Spoiling in GoD explained:

Crafting
Dwarfs can craft items of R-Grade or higher, regardless of their class.
After awakening dwarfs automatically acquire the following skills:
Create item - 11 lv. 85 lvl.
Create item - 12 lv. 90 lvl.
Create item - 13 lv. 95 lvl.
Create item - 14 lv. 99 lvl.

All races will however receive [Create Common Item Skill Level 10] with which you can craft R-Grade belts, shirts, bracelets and elixirs.

After awakening, only Dwarfs can craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots.
There is however a low chance of obtaining recipes from the Adventurers' Guildsmen that appear in certain instanced dungeons by using Seals of Loyalty, Pledge, Sincerity or Spirit that sells recipes to allow other players to craft R-Grade Soulshots, Spiritshots and Blessed Spiritshots with normal (read common) crafting skill.

Crafting has been made a lot less tedious in GoD and the average R-grade weapon is a lot easier to craft then S grade as we're used to now.

Some recipes are available on Elliebelly's blog: click

Spoiling
A Bounty Hunter will awaken in to an Othell Rogue.
- Spoil and Sweep skills are disappear.
- You learn new skill: Plunder

All classes who awaked in to Othell Rogue (Adventurer, Wind Rider, Fortune Seeker and Ghosthunter), will get plunder skill.

From the official site:
Crafting

In Goddess of Destruction, Awakened characters of all races and classes can now craft. However, Dwarves remain the masters of crafting. Dwarves can craft at any level and as any class, up to an item skill of 11. Non-Dwarf Awakened characters can craft common items up to an item skill of 10. Also, while all races of Awakened character can craft R-grade belts, shirts, bracelets. and elixirs, only Dwarves can craft R-grade Soulshots, Spiritshots, and Blessed Spiritshots. Recipes for R-grade shots have been added to the game. There is also a rare possibility of obtaining these recipes by trading seals of Loyalty, Pledge, Sincerity, or Spirit with an Adventurer Guildsmen NPC appearing in certain instanced dungeons.

Most items that are crafted are created as Unidentified items, but there is also a chance of crafting a Standard or Blessed item.

R-grade items cannot be crafted with conventional materials only. Some special items are required, such as Crafting Solvent or a Dual Sword Craft Stamp. These items can be purchased from Grocer NPCs in any town.

To avoid confusion I've updated the text regarding the Stone of Destiny;

NOTE: The "Stone of Destiny", can not be acquired at the Innova EU servers. It was given to characters above lvl75 on the russian, korean and NA servers at the launch of GoD. Any character that used it ended up with the base skills of the human counterpart of the 4th class.
