Buffalo - good for fighter classes

Baby has Small Heals
Improved does Greater heal
lv 55 : Bless the Body lvl 6. (20mins), Might lvl 3. (2 mins)
lv 60 : Shield lvl 3. (2mins), Guidance lvl 3.(2mins)
lv 65 : Haste lvl 2. (2mins), Vampiric Rage lvl 4. (2mins)
lv 70 : Focus lvl 3. (2mins), Death whisper (2mins)

Kookabura - good for mage class/healers

Baby has Small Heals
Improved: Recharges mp (battle heals as well when you are at 30% hp)
lv 55 : Bless the Soul lvl 6.(20mins), Empower lvl 3.(2mins)
lv 60 : Bless the Body lvl 6. (20mins), Shield lvl 3. (2mins)
lv 65 : Concentration lvl 6. (2mins), Acumen lvl 3.(2mins)
lv 70 : (consensus seems to be no new skill at 70)
* If the owner is +15 levels of the pet, there is -10mp penalty per each level.

Cougar Casts both fighter & mage buffs

Baby has Small Heals
lvl 55 : Might lvl 3.(2mins), Empower lvl 3. (2mins)
lvl 60 : Bless the Body lvl 6.(20mins), Shield lvl 3. (2mins)
lvl 65 : Acumen lvl 3.(2mins), Haste lvl 2. (2mins)
lvl 70 : Vampiric Rage lvl 4. (2mins), Focus lvl 3. (2mins)

Out of these imo the kookabura is an absolute must for healer classes as the recharge is going to be invaluable in prolonged raid fights in the mid to high level range. Healers please make one, they do help alot.

For the rest of us there is the wolf.

Great Wolf / Fenrir
Level 70
- Bite Attack: Bite ferociously with sharp teeth.
- Maul: Attacks with fore-claws to create wound. Power 1. Effect 3. chance to add Bleeding
- Cry of the Wolf: Dominate nearby enemies with a mighty roar. -23% patk of surrounding enemies
- Awakening (group Buff): +8% patk, +16% matk, +8% attk-speed, +8 speed, -8% pdef, -16% mdef, -4 evasion. holds 90sec, cooldown 15mins (prolly the only good skill on these)

Great Snow Wolf / Snow Fenrir
Level 70
- the same skills like their normal counter part
- Cry of the Wolf: Dominate nearby enemies with a mighty roar. -23% patk/matk of surrounding enemies

Those fucking things will level our subs faster than we can do it ourselves. They will be of great use in some raids as long as they dont get AoEed as they are squishy. Even without the best gear on them they have pretty impressive dps and a pack of them will supplement our PvE until we get our endgame gear in order. This is my personal appeal to everyone to make one. Ive seen them in action and they are indeed useful.

I would very much want to know who will NOT make a pet just to see where we stand with the whole thing. If that is the case please respond with a reason.

how do you obtain the snow wolf?
Is it some CH thing for certain CH's or what?
And are they better?
they look the same in this topic but i've heard that the snow wolf got 10% more p.atk than the great wolf, confirm?

Snow wolfs are tied to Aden and Rune clan halls and can be taken in exchange for your normal wolf summoning item. I need to research the p.attack thing but the main thing is you can ride em at lvl 55 instead of 70 (fenrir)

ninjaed infos: This is the Clanhall version of the Great Wolf the difference is that Clanhall Great Wolfs are rideable with lvl 55. The catch though is for you to ride them you need to be a member of a clan holding an Aden or Rune Clanhall. Once tranformed the Great Snow Wolf will receive 1 extra skill which is a Aoe Debuff.

from the lineage 2 wiki : Its defense is 10% higher and you can mount it.

normally all mages make kookas, this should be mandatory and bd/sws/ol/wc/tanks make wolves
pet equip prices have been halved in H5 so getting top gear for wolf is easier
